Hi,
I'm trying to import audio WAV files to Radar 24 via CD-R. The files are 48k/24-bit WAV which is what my Radar 24 is set up for. Files are made using BIAS Peak Pro v6.1.1. The CD-R is burned using Toast 9.0.5 on a Mac Pro, OS 10.5.7. When I import using FTP they open in Radar fine. When I use the CD-R (tried both TDK and Mitsui) Radar says it can't find any WAV files. iZ Support says there are no RIFF headers on my CD-R files but can't say why. BIAS says it could be a problem with Toast 9 removing or leaving off the RIFF headers. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? Audy O |

I've never had much luck importing files from CD/DVD. Either the RADAR doesn't see them, or they show up blank or garbled. I've tried wav, bwav, aiff - burned with different software on different platforms - there's no "magic combination" that works consistently AFAICS.
Let me know if you find out differently. Scott Ignorance is temporary; Stupidity is forever. |

Scott,
From what I understand, it has to be WAV of BWAV in the same sample rate and bit rate that your Radar is set to. I've done it quickly and easily in the past, even recently but can't seem to do it anymore. BTW, tried with both TDK and Mitsui CD-R today, no luck. Radar can't recognize them as WAV files.
