Under 10.3.3, Radar Mounter works flawlessly. On our Pro Tools 10.3.2 systems, the Radar Mounter startup item mounts the !RADAR! 64K cluster drive. However, it reports an error, and gives one the option to INITIALIZE, IGNORE or EJECT. This is very dangerous, for obvious reasons.

Damsel, please address this issue, which is also present in 10.3.4. Also, Open Session 2.0 works nativelly under OS X, however, the middle progress indicators do not function at all. The only way to tell if an Export is complete, is the cursor.

Thank you in advance.

This is a Mac OS issue. Due to the way that Diskarbitration polls the drives, it takes about 30 seconds for it to get back around to the MS-DOS volume and remove that warning from the screen.

This is noted in the Important!ReadMe.rtf included with the Radar Mounter Installer.

No timeline is given by Apple as to when or if this will be fixed. Given the lack of development of MS-Dos volume support, I would not expect this to change in the future.

Hi,

I'd like to download RadarMounter 1.0 but can't find it on the web.

Can someone point me to a place where I can download it or can send me a copy ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately it redirects to http://www.digitalaudiomiracles.com/radarmounter.zip (like all the other links I found) and this website is no longer in operation.

So I am afraid the only way to get hold of this software is a mail with an attachment.

Thanks anyway.

Btw - this could be downloaded for free when Digital Audio Miracles had their website still running.

So I don't think it is illegal to send the 26k software by email.

If this isn't the case, please send me a note.

Thanks
Matts

We've been able to locate a copy. If you provide us with your email, or send a request to support@izcorp.com, we can attach the installation package and send it back to you.

Please note: It is not our product, and we do not offer any support for it.

Hi iZ,

wow - you guys are really great !!
I really didn't expect THAT ....

I'll send you an email which I'd ask you to use.

Question : wouldn't it make sense to put this on your download-section ?

Thanks so much - this helps me out of a lot of trouble.

Matt

Open Session is not an iZ product. It's a piece of software that was created and developed solely by a third party.

We do not offer any support and do not retain any documentation on the software. We only have one version of the software and it's not certain if it's even the latest one that was released. And, if it's even still being developed.

It's not in the best interest for iZ Technology to offer this within the Support Section of our website.
