hi folks
I tried to record some files from Logic into my Radar the other day and there is something very strange occuring, there appears to be some kind of sync problem. It sounds almost right at first and then immediatly it starts to crackle as if the sample rates are different, and after a couple of seconds it sounds as if the music is speeded up and then it accelerates and settles at a higher speed and the sample rates seems to be offset. I have tried all and everything almost but I cannot get any further with this!? I cannot seem to set my Radar to 44.1KHz, I am recording all at that rate in logic and I have recorded stuff to my Radar at 44100 b ut as soon as I try to sync Radar and LOgic this occurs. I am lost here and would really appreciate some assistance. Thanks a lot / JaJu

Just to verify: You have Logic, your audio card in your computer, and the Radar ALL set to the same sample rate?

Are you trying to sync Logic and the Radar together, or just move files from Logic to the Radar?

We need information about what hardware interface is being used for Logic.

We're assuming you're trying to record digitally from Logic to RADAR. If so, what is the interface? S/PDIF?

There should be an existing 44.1 project on the RADAR before you try to sync anything.

Are you using wordclock or S/PDIF as the sync signal?

Syncing the RADAR to Logic or Logic to RADAR?

Is the sync light solid on the RADAR when this speed change is happening? One possibility is that you are syncing Logic to RADAR AND RADAR to Logic at the same time. This creates a circular situation with no fixed reference frequency and the sample rate will tend to drift as the 2 PLLs attempt to follow each other.
