I was wondering if anyone out there was having problems with the Radar and FTP on Mac OSX,
Radar V with 3.54?
I am using a x-over cable to connect the Radar and the computers directly. All of the settings in both the Radar and the Computer's is correct. We have an older Radar 24 system that we have been using for 10 years now and have no problems with FTP and the Mac's.

Both Fetch and Cyberduck will not complete transfers. It will get partway into a transfer then it will just stop. Then when I try and log back into the Radar with Fetch it will not log in. I have to reboot the Radar in order to log back in but after 5 minutes the Radar will lose the connection?
I am using 2 different computers to try this. Here is the following info about the computers. All of the setting including Firewalls and what not are set correctly. Firewall off, TCP/IP set to manually and the Default gateway is correct.

Tower is an 2 x Dual Core Xeon 2.66
Mac Pro with OS 10.4.11
Newest version of Cyberduck and Fetch

Laptop is a Mac Book Pro 17"
Intel 2.6 Core 2 Duo
OSX 10.5.3

Any help will be great!

Yes, I've had a similar problem with my Radar 24 and FETCH. MY computer is G4 Powerbook w/ OS 10.4.10/11. Although, for some reason, it hasn't been as bad lately. Can never get an answer out of the company...

I just posted about this problem as well:

http://recordingtheworld.infop...31603982/m/900101292

It's a strange, intermittent problem... I can't seem to MAKE it happen, it just does it randomly.

My guess is that there is some incompatibility with the timing of the network card in the Radar, and the networking in the MacPro... but I really have no idea.

Still awaiting any suggestions from the forum or IZCorp...

Can you explain Radar 24 Project 24's total spec. I see for digital you have the Adat card, I assume no analog Classic converters?

Regards ,,deda,,

I'm not going to hijack xpulsar's thread... just wanted to state that no, I don't have any analog classic converters in my machine.

Any time you are using the BeOS FTP server, with your computer as the FTP client, you are likely to encounter this problem (although it doesn't seem to affect every RADAR unit).

However, in the case where you're working from the RADAR (copy/paste, export, etc.) this shouldn't be an issue. There might be some other networking issue in those cases.

Additionally, RADAR software has not yet been tested with Snow Leopard. So, we're unsure if any networking problems exist with the current OS X upgrade or not.
